Privacy Policy
Some details on this page are still placeholders in square brackets and will be completed by the site owner.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“Al Anqa Furniture”, “we”, “us”), [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the website, why, and the choices you have.
Questions about this policy can be sent to info@alanqaa.co.
2. Information we collect
You can browse the website without giving us any personal information. We collect information in these cases only:
- Contact form: when you send us a message we receive your name, email address, phone number, the subject and your message.
- Technical data: like most websites, our server records technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use it to keep the site secure and working.
- Cookies: see the Cookies section below.
3. How we use your information
- To read and answer your message, for example about a product, a custom order or a visit.
- To keep the website secure, prevent abuse and spam, and fix technical problems.
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. Where a legal basis is required, we rely on your request (to answer your message), our legitimate interest in running a secure website, and compliance with the law.
4. Cookies
The website uses only the cookies it needs to work:
- “laravel_session”: keeps your session while you browse. It expires after about two hours of inactivity.
- “XSRF-TOKEN”: protects forms, such as the contact form, against cross-site request forgery.
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. The embedded Google Map on the contact page is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies when the map loads; see Google’s privacy policy.
5. Third-party services
- Google Maps shows our location on the contact page.
- Fonts, icons and scripts are loaded from content delivery networks (such as cdnjs, jsDelivr and Google Fonts). These providers receive your IP address when your browser requests the files.
- Links to Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
6. How long we keep information
We keep contact messages for as long as needed to answer and follow up on them, and no longer than [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 24 months], unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security purposes.
7. Security
The website is served over HTTPS, and messages can only be read by authorised staff using a password-protected administration area. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email info@alanqaa.co. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
9. International transfers
Our service providers, such as our hosting and content delivery providers, may process information in other countries. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards those providers offer.
10. Children
The website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
